PHOTOSHOOT QUESTIONS
What do we/I bring to the photoshoot?...
Family:
Bring approx 3 changes of clothing for the £160 package, 2 x smart casual, dresses, (not too much black) consider all wearing light/white tops for one for your changes and colourful for another (they don't have to match). Avoid patterens that will clash! Bring hats, jewellery, sunglasses, fun props, any hobby props ie. instruments, football or ballet shoe’s, toys… Well behaved pets also make great props if you would like to bring them along too.
Newborn Babies:
Most newborn images are the cutest without clothes, therefore bring only 2 outfits, a plain sleeveless vest, hats, head bands, blanket, first teddy etc… I have lots of props in my studio also. Try and wait until you arrive before you feed your baby
Baby / Toddler / Children:
Bring approx 3 changes, casual, smart, girls - dresses, boys - denium jeans and braces, fav toys, teddies, hats. if you have a little princess then maybe bring a fairy/angel/princess dress/costumes (please ensure your child/baby has a good sleep and not two many sweeties. It is also advisable to not book your photoshoot around the time of your babies injections)
Baby Cake Smash Photoshoot:
For girls, think pink Tutu's (i have some beautiful tutu's here in my studio but feel free to bring your own) or perhaps bring a frilly dress and all things girlie!
For boys I personally think a nice nappy and a party hat looks the cutest sometime with a cute little bow tie which of have a selection of in my studio, I also have nappy pants cover branded nappies)
Before we do the cake smash, I think it's always a nice idea to have a few snaps of the family together (although this is your choice) come dressed in something you would like to wear in the photo's (please read above under the family suggestions)
Please bring approx 5 normal size balloons of two colours

Boudoir:
Bring approx 5 changes, suggestions… mixture of lingerie sets, nighty, bikini, dress, shorts, stockings, heels, boots, hats, sunglasses, jewellery, any props, instalment, again I do have some props within my studio (suggestion depending on your style – fake tan before hand, painted nails, hair pieces)
Female Portraits:
Bring aprrox 5 changes, suggestions mixture of dresses, casual, jeans, tops, sunglasses, jewellery, heels, trainers, any props for any theme, I do have props within my studio too (suggestion depending on your style – fake tan before hand, painted nails, hair pieces)
Male Portraits:
Bring approx 5 changes, mixture of casual and smart, jeans, shirts, t-shirts, vests, shorts, suits, hats, sunglasses, boots, trainers, props i.e. Boxing gloves, instruments, sporting props… these are just suggestions.
Pregnancy Portraits:
Here are some suggestions you could bring to your pregnancy photoshoot... baby booties, anything relating to a boy or a girl, blue or pink ribbon to tie around your bump, a white baggy shirt, floaty lingerie, white or cream tight vest top, jeans, linen trousers or leggings, dress, white floaty sheet... most importantly it's always a lovely idea to bring your partner... they will make a perfect prop! (I normally send the partner out while I am shooting your solo shots, just because woman tend to be more relaxed)
Child Model Portfolio Photoshoot & Agency Registration:
If your child loves to be in front of the camera and is full of character, why not build them a portfolio and register them with Birmingham number 1 child model agency!
Your child will have a 1 x hour professional photoshoot where we can assess if they are ready to register with Alan Sharman Agency Birmingham.
If your child is ready, I will register them and you will be contacted by Alan Sherman if successful.
Do we need to pay a deposit?

Can I/we share our/my photoshoot?
Yes, certainly, you can share your shoot with a friend or family as long as you arrive at the same time. You can also share a portrait / Boudoir photoshoot splitting the cost of the shoot between yourselves
How long does the photoshoot take?
That very much depends on the flow of the photoshoot, it can take from 30mins to 2 hours, I don’t like to rush my shoots, it’s more important to capture some beautiful natural images. on average it’s between 1 – 1 ½ hours
Do you show us what to do?
Yes no need to worry about practicing, I plan your shoot out before you arrive and again when I meet you. I love to concentrate on natural shots, you may not even realise when I’m taking your very best pictures… If you have some great ideas of your own, please say and we can put them in to play together.
Do you have parking?
Yes there is plenty of free parking
How many people can we bring to our photoshoot:
Maximum of 7 adults, or 8-10 children (ask call to discuss further)
What happens if our/my child is playing up and not cooperating?
Yours wouldn’t be the first, however I do always manage to capture lovely images, albeit action motion shots, cuddling and tickling works well for the wiggling ones, along with a few distraction techniques I have in the studio. I would suggest booking your photoshoot at a time when your child is normally less tired. If you want to brig some bribing sweeties please ensure they are not messy or too chewy… this combination doesn’t always work well in the photo’s :0)
IMAGE EDITING QUETSIONS
Do you airbrush and edit our images?
Yes your images will be fully edited to your requires at no extra cost, this means… Skin smoothly Spot / blemish / stretch mark / scare removing Figure shaping, ie slimming down arms, tums, double chins and other unwanted area. Special effects and colours
VIEWING AND CHOOSING YOUR IMAGES
How long until we get to view the images?
Depending on my work schedule, images take between 1-3 weeks
How do we choose our images?
I select between 30-50 of your very best shots from your shoot, Once I have finished editing your images, I will then send you an email with a link and private password to view your edited images in the comfort of your own home… There will be a few options
1. Choose your package images for your disc, by clicking on the shopping cart at the bottom of each image then continue to place the order
2. Purchase all additional images shown from between £25 - £200 depending on how many images there are
3. There will also be various print options displayed What happens to the additional images in case we would like to purchase more later on? I keep your images on my hard drive for 6 months after you photoshoot and you’re welcome to purchase more online at any time.

Who owns the copyright of our images?
Unlike most professional photographers I will give you a disc of digital images which you can print from as you wish. All images are high resolution.
